Capture and Filter
Sniffing only sees resources that the browser actually loads. After opening a page, you may still need to play media, scroll, change quality, or enter the target content.
Make resources appear
Section titled “Make resources appear”- Keep the sniffing session running.
- Open the target page in the browser.
- Click Play and wait a few seconds.
- If the page uses lazy loading, scroll to the media area.
- Return to XiaDown to view new resources.
If the list remains empty, play the media again, refresh the page, or expand Settings → Download → Sniffing Resource Scope.

Filtered resources
Section titled “Filtered resources”A resource may be marked Filtered because its address is empty, its size is too small, it lacks video characteristics, its request status is abnormal, or it has a low match score. These entries help with troubleshooting and are not necessarily playable media.
Click Reset Filters when the results are not useful. Clear List only removes currently discovered entries; new ones continue to appear as the browser loads resources.
