Reading, Favorites, and Progress
After you select an entry, RSS opens an optimized reader, media page, or original page based on the content. When no entry is selected, the content area prompts you to choose one.
Reading actions
Section titled “Reading actions”| Action | Result |

| Mark Read / Unread | Update the current entry’s read state. |
| Favorite / Remove Favorite | Keep or remove the entry on the Favorites page. |
| View Original | Open the full content on the source site. |
| Open in Browser | Open the current address in the system browser. |
| Copy Link / Title | Copy information from the current entry. |
| Share | Use a sharing method available on the current system. |
| Export as Portable Document | Export supported reading content as a PDF. |
| Read Aloud | Start or stop reading supported articles aloud. |
Unread filter
Section titled “Unread filter”Switch between Show All and Unread Only in the list. Mark All as Read changes the state of entries in the current scope, so confirm the selected subscription or list before running it.
Reading progress
Section titled “Reading progress”Long articles save your reading progress. When you reopen one, you can continue from the previous position. The top of the page or the reading area shows the corresponding progress state.
Reading preferences
Section titled “Reading preferences”Reader preferences let you set:
- Whether opening an entry marks it as read automatically.
- Whether to use the optimized reader or original page by default.
- Body text size.
- Compact, comfortable, or spacious reading density.
The page also lists keyboard controls for moving between entries, changing read or favorite state, filtering unread entries, and refreshing.
